An email address on your own domain name

[email protected] instead of a generic free address. No website, no hosting plan: just email, and you manage the rest yourself.

The short answer

You need a domain name, and email that runs on it

An address like [email protected] has two parts. The part after the @ sign is your domain name: that has to be yours. The part before it is the mailbox: you create that yourself once the domain name is connected to our email.

With us you order those two together, and you don't have to add a website. Already have a domain name — with us or with another provider — then you use that one. Don't have one yet? Pick one while you order. After that, you create your first email address through the link we send you.

In short

Email on your own domain name
No website or hosting plan needed
You can keep your existing domain name
Manage mailboxes yourself in One

Your domain name

Three situations, three routes

While ordering, you tell us which of these three applies to you. The rest of the order adapts accordingly.

You register a new domain name

Don't have a domain name yet? Pick one while you order. We register it and set it up for your email right away.

Your domain is already with VoiceOne

If your domain name is already with us, you simply pick it from your own list. Nothing needs to be moved or transferred.

Your domain is with another provider

You can leave your domain where it is. You point its nameservers to us; which ones, you'll find in the email you receive after ordering. You make that change yourself at your current provider.

In your One portal

What you manage yourself

You manage your email in the same place as your invoices and services. No separate control panel, no requests by email.

Create mailboxes

You create addresses yourself: info@, billing@, or an address in a colleague's name. You pick the address and the password.

Delete mailboxes

Someone leaving, or an address you no longer need? Remove the mailbox yourself.

Change passwords

You change a mailbox password yourself, without involving us. Handy when someone has lost their password or it needs to be changed.

Forwarding addresses

Forward messages from one address to another. For example, info@ landing in the inboxes of two colleagues.

Catch-all

Mail to an address that doesn't exist doesn't have to get lost: you decide whether it's rejected or lands in an existing mailbox. Keep in mind you'll then also receive spam sent to made-up addresses.

Auto-reply

For vacation or time away, turn on an auto-reply per mailbox with your own text. Turn it off again afterwards.

Your own block rules

Bothered by a sender? Create a block rule yourself. These are rules you set up and remove yourself.

Read your email in the browser

Read and send your messages through our webmail at webmail.voiceone.nl. You log in with your email address and that mailbox's password — no separate installation needed.

You set up block rules yourself

The block rules above are rules you create for senders or addresses you no longer want messages from. You create them yourself and remove them yourself.

Email settings for your phone and Outlook

Rather read your email in Mail on your phone or in Outlook than in the browser? Add an IMAP account there with these details.

Incoming email (IMAP)

Outgoing email (SMTP)

Pick either of these two ports — whichever one your mail app suggests will work.

What do you log in with?

Your full email address — so [email protected], not just the part before the @ sign — and that mailbox's password. You use that same address and password at webmail.voiceone.nl.

How it works

From order to your first email address

1

You order and choose your domain name

You tell us whether you want a new domain name, already have one with us, or have one somewhere else.

2

The domain points to our email

If we register the domain or it's already with us, we take care of it. If it's with another provider, you change the nameservers there; the details are in the email we send you.

3

You create your first mailbox

You receive a link to pick the address and the password. From that moment on, you manage your email in your One portal.

What it costs

Two plans

The difference is in the number of mailboxes and the storage; everything else is the same for both. If you register a new domain name as well, that cost is added separately — you'll see them side by side while ordering.
